The 7230 Series HT Digital Probe is a magnetostrictive probe for high temperature applications in the oil and gas industry including pipeline
tanks and oil and water separators. The level sensor provides a multi-variable output that includes level, interface and temperature data that
only requires one process connection.
There are two communication protocols available. The 7231 with Modbus RTU is the standard protocol. The 7235 comes with a proprietary, ASCII
protocol and is recommended for OEM applications. An optional Analog interface is also available.
What is impressive about this instrument is that the measurements are completely independent of changes in the process material's electrical
characteristics and densities. Hydrocarbon based condensates have a predictable range of specific gravity that are well within the range of the
standard floats, which means that variations in hydrocarbon make up will not cause level measurement errors. In addition, the measurements are
not affected by vapors, stratification, or temperature changes. This makes the 7230 Series probe ideal for applications where liquids with
different physical characteristics are mixed in one tank such as condensate and separator tanks.
Pro-Stik II - Intrinsically Safe Programmable Linear Position Sensor The Series 7330 Pro-Stik II supersedes the 7220 and 7300. This product
combines the reliability and resolution of magnetostrictive continuous absolute positioning sensing with the Stik package to create a unique
level measuring instrument. The magnetostrictive technology is the same as used in Gemco LDT sensors. AMETEK liquid level sensors, have been
proven in demanding applications such as underground leak detection and inventory management. The 7330 is available with a rigid 316 stainless
steel or flexible PVDF materials. The 7330 also is available in an explosion/flame proof design. The 7330 EX/ED Series Pro-Stik II takes field proven magnetostrictive sensing technology and incorporates features such as explosion/flame proof design and field programmable span. This is packaged in our patented Stik design, making the Pro-Stik II ideal for level monitoring in a variety of liquids and tanks.

protection for conduit or cable entrance. Ametek offers holders and electrodes in many different materials for the most corrosive or high
temperature application. Electrodes and holders should be selected according to the specific characteristics of the liquid involved, the lengths
required to obtain the desired control of levels, and the physical nature of the container. Because of these factors, the B/W line of electrodes
and holders presented in this section has been developed to provide a practical, economical solution to almost every conceivable application and
installation problem. When necessary, special equipment can also be supplied to meet specific needs.

Point Level Floats - 7010 Tilt Switch Float Assemblies
7010 Tilt Switch Float Assemblies - The B/W Controls Float Switches are tilt actuated liquid level controls, designed to operate pumps, valves,
multiple alternators, relays, contactors, alarms and similar equipment for industrial and commercial use. The wide angle, tilt-option uses a
mechanical switch inside the float, while a hermetically sealed, axially nonposition-sensitive mercury switch is the narrow angle option. These
floats provide a reliable, long-lasting level control suitable for most liquid environments up to 160 F. The B/W Tilt Float Switch provides an
ideal pilot device for the control of all B/W relays and controls panels. The polypropylene float, PVC cable, and hermetically sealed mercury
switch provide an economical liquid level solution for controlling sewage, effluent, many chemical solutions, as well as liquids in other
hostile environments containing oil, grease or other similar industrial and municipal wastes where dependable liquid control is essential.
The B/W Unifloat level sensing system was developed especially to permit simple, low-cost installation and ease of adjustment in service for a
broad range of applications requiring accurate multiple function/multiple level control of any type of liquid. The unique design of the patented
Unifloat features a Latching Reed Switch that eliminates the need for multiple floats to indicate various switch points. The B/W Unifloat
Assembly is available in two styles: one lead with grounded contact or two leads with isolated contact. Both offer a latching reed switch for
greater flexibility and can be used with all the B/W control relays and control panels. The isolated contact design can directly interface to

Digital Stik - The 7250 Digital Stiks take field proven magnetostrictive sensing technology and packages it for greater reliability and easier
installation. It is ideal for liquid level monitoring, interface level and leak detection in a variety of liquid media in above ground and
underground storage tanks. This series has an inherently lower cost design which results in savings. It provides the same performance and
reliability as sensors that consume more power. The 7250X Digital Stik is constructed of 316 Stainless Steel and comes with a variety of
connectors, including a mini connector for quick connect applications, a single 3/4" NPT that can be used with a compression fitting, a
double 3/4" NPT for mounting with a flange or bushing, and a 1/2" right angle for use in low overhead applications.
